    Pros: Size

    Cons: Cleaning

    Bought this vacuum after reading many reviews and hearing so many positive comments about dyson on the internet. I have to say in a house with pets and children this is the worst vacuum I have ever owned. I would only suggest this product to those wh...o have no form of carpet in their house. Very poor suction and cleaning ability. Save your money and purchase something for much less. Even emailed dyson about the poor performance and they did not stand behind the product. Read more Less

    wish it wasn't a turbine head

    Pros: great suction

    Cons: works great when turbine head is NEW

    I have a professional home cleaning business. And have used many vacuums including Dysons. My son bought me a purple turbinehead canister, worked great for the first couple months. Easy to use on the stairs, and tile. But vacuuming on the carpet afte...r a couple months, the turbine head isn't rotating and brushing the carpet like it did when new. I had to even get a new turbinehead because the first one froze up and Dyson replaced free of charge. I would much rather have the Dyson animal ball upright. I have used this vacuum in other homes and there is NO problems. Just more difficult on stairs. I always suggest to my home owners, buy a Dyson ball it's wonderful. If they can't afford it, then buy a Hoover. Read more Less

    Pros: Easy to store

    I love this vacuum it works great and its easy to store, works very well on title & wood not only carpet. Best vacuum ever!!!

    Pros: Lightweight & easy to use

    Cons: ??????

    I've had a canister vacuum before & liked it but it didn't have as much suction as an upright. I love the fact I don't have to remember to buy more bags, I can just hold the canister over the garbage and empty it. No more messy, dusty bags!!

    Pros: When it was new it could suck the paint off the floor

    Cons: Now that it is 5 years old, it's mediocre at best

    Cleaned all the internal filters and the motor seems to run the same, but the suction is GONE. Need to contact Dyson to see what if anything can be done. Had it replaced at one year for extendable hose breaking off that Best Buy wouldn't fix so they ...just replaced it. Probably wouldn't buy another one. Read more Less
