I've had a number of blowers through the years small ones, an 8hp large blower, and a 7hp medium blower. As I get older I dislike being out blowing for long periods of time sometimes as long as 2hrs. I have 300feet of sidewalk plus the rest, with the... Platinum 30 the longest I've been out was 30mins vs 2hrs in a real heavy snow or blizzard with the 7hp. While my neighbors have to stop and backup and go again with their blowers I walk right through the deepest snow we've got. Its easy to use and start. The impeller which throws the snow is the largest I could find on the market 14inches vs 12inches for others. Really throws it a long distance. Read more Less
