    Pros: rugged body, ergonomics, colors, speed, 15 mp

    Cons: none yet...

    I got the kit with the 18-55 lens...my 5th canon and an upgrade over my older rebel...love the large viewer, can be seen in any light...fast, responsive, logical operating controls...I have recently become more serious as a hobbyist and this camera h...as everything I need and enough settings and controls to allow me to grow ...it takes lovely shots with great colors...red saturation on my macros is a challenge, but thats true for all...I like the weight, feels rugged and solid. It has become my constant companion..I've shot over 200 shots a day average, macros, flowers, wildlife and portraits, all with great results. If you are looking for a versatile, affordable high-end camera, this is a great choice...I didn't mention the HD video...I didn't buy it for that but its handy to have as well...no real downside to this Canon instant classic. Even the kit lens performed amazingly well. I did just go and get a 50 mm macro and a 28-200 canon lens... Good shooting! Read more Less
