    Pros: Spectacular quality images; user friendly; lightweight; durable

    Cons: Nails forever leaving white marks on black body; kind of small for many peoples' hands

    The 500D is my best friend. As a beginner, it has given me a huge lift. All the features are there, with 15.1MP. It is the perfect all-round camera for anyone, beginner - advanced. It's light, which comes in handy for extended use. It has several Aut...omatic Program functions for novice or casual users. The only thing I have found to be problematic is the size. I'm a small person, with long fingers. The grip is rather small and my painted nails continuously leave marks on the black body. However, you can just rub these off, so no biggie whatsoever.     Pros: Excellent image quality, Nice 3" LCD screen, Live View

    I have had this camera for 2 weeks now and I love it. Image quality is typical Canon excellent. Features are great, LCD is vivid with 920,000 pixels. Nothing bad to say about it...except that I still have not learned all the features of the T1i.

    Pros: High Quality , HD Video , Many Features

    Cons: Plastic Feeling , not as fast as 50D & 40D

    the 500D is very Handy when it comes to Amateurs & Advanced Amateurs , Superb Quality when it comes to Pictures & very Sharp HD & FULL HD But i don't use the Full hd allot ! There are Many Many Features Cramped in a small yet Very Reliable Body ! i j...ust hope they could increase the FPS , BUT i Guess if they did that it would be a 50D !!i Have Had it for 5 Months now it is a Wonderfull Camera Recowmended to ALL !
