    Pros: Excellent focus at all levels 18 through 270mm

    Cons: locking latch is clumsy and if not in place, barrel will slide.

    I use the Tamron lens more frequently than my wide angle, macro and 24-105 L lens. It maintains excellent focus at all levels I recommend the lens.
