Floppies are Fantastic

Pros: floppy disk storage, ease of use, great results

I bought this product simply because I liked the idea of recording images directly to floppies for use in a floppy disk t.v. photo viewer. Sure, it's easy enough to make floppy "slide shows" with my other digital camera and a computer, but the FD200... lets me shoot about 30 pictures, slap a label on the disk, and be done. Avoided are the extra steps of connecting to a computer, downloading, selecting images, creating the floppy, and being tempted to "fix" things by post-processing (besides, the sharpness, contrast, color balance, etc. are so good right from the camera that no touch-up is called for).The FD200 has more than met my expectations: results in terms of image quality are great; it's very comfortable to hold; handling and access to controls and menus are super easy; with shutter speeds of up to 2 seconds, dim lighting conditions are no problem; it allows macro focusing to 1 3/16 inches; and it can copy images to another floppy right in camera to share with others. The camera recommends itself; after trying mine, two other family/friends have bought the same model. Read more Less
