The Nintendo Gamecube. A great system, great graphics, incredible game quality! There's not a whole lot of games out yet, but with more games coming out every week, there will soon be tons of titles to choose from. It is great for all ages and is ...great fun! Buy this console! Read more Less
The Nintendo Gamecube is everything you love about Nintendo! The Resident Evil games available for the Gamecube will look so good, it will make you wonder why the Xbox got all the graphics hype. The button layout on the controller is somewhat odd, bu...t you will soon get used to it. If only the Gamecube had must have games like 'Grand Theft Auto' or 'Halo'! The only real must-have games on the Nintendo Gamecube are Resident Evil 4 and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. And for only $100.00, you cant get any better any cheaper. I would like to add, i will be purchasing Nintendo's next console, code named: Revolution. Read more Less
I own a Gamecube, and i am pleased to say that i am very happy with my purchace. First of all, i would like to say that i am NOT a fanboy.(gettin a Ps2 soon...)The GCN, in my opinion would have to be one of the best consoles that i have had the pleas...ure of owning..alongside the SNES and N64 both of which were good consoles. However, since the launch of GCN, many users were wary of the fact that the N64 was a failure and were are litte *scared* should we say, to purchace a GCN. Over all i give GCN a five because it does what i want it to do. And that is play games. I didnt buy it to be an entertainment system. The graphics sound and control are supurb on this system.. The controller fits beautifully in your hand. One noteable fact is, that it is not very well equipped for fighting games, but nonetheless, is still an excellent controller. I give fun factor five, simply beacause this machine also does one other thing: Plays Nintendos AWESOME first party games. So therefore, i would recomend this console to whoever wants to PLAY GAMES and have FUN! Read more Less
Not the best unit I ever had , I like the 64 better ,I think its way to much money for what your getting ,PS 2 has them all beat.
This is a family system and even my 4 yr old can operate it! It's fun...and has entertained us many a nights into the wee morning hours!!! Just don't buy games until they go on sale....these games are a bit pricey!!
the best console out
Great system alot of new great tittle out now finally.
I think the Gamecube is definetly the best console of the 3 - PS2, XBOX, and GAMECUBE. Why? First, no offense but PS2's graphics are only better than N64's. Only some of their games graphics are better than Dreamcast and I havent seen a Gamecube game... with worse graphics than a PS2. The XBOX, however, is a different story. Im sorry to say but the graphics on XBOX are better than Gamecube - but not always and if it is its not like the difference between Gamecube and PS2. The sound is perfect. All the systems have basically the same sound systems and you cant make a real difference out of them unless you have surround sound which Gamecube unfortuanlty doesnt support. Although, not many Games support this feature for any of the consoles so it does not even matter. The sound that the Gamecube produces is perfect the way it is. The controller is revolutionary. Unlike the XBOX controller where they had to make the Conroller S because so many people hated the first one (and the S still has a ways to go) and the PS2 which has the same exact frame as the PSOne (which is not good because your hand gets tired after a while on that and its not contured like the Gamecube's), the Gamecube controller fits in your hand perfectly. All the curves and crevices are in there and the moment you wrap your hands around it you will know how to use it because the buttons are placed perfectly where your fingers will land. The amount of fun this game system produces is amazing. The day I bought my Gamecube I played it until 11:00. I tried doing that with a PS2 and XBOX (when my friends got one) and after 4 hours or so my eyes started hurting and the games started getting boring and my hand was sore beacuse of the controller. I hope my review was usefull, and I am only half Nintendo fanboy, and I like XBOX and PS2, but I still have to say that if you have a choice among all 3, get the Gamecube. You wont regret it.
