    Ant deterent & cleaning

    Pros: very useful cleaning product

    Cons: Used as ant pesticide took time but it worked

    I was looking for a natural ant pesticide and found that borax was a suggestion. I sprinkled it on the window sills and the back of my counter tops. It took about a week to work, but it stopped the problem. Another plus: Our kitchen has black lamina...te walls. Trying to remove grease spatters from them has been a nightmare. As I wiped away the borax from fighting the ant problem, I wiped down the walls too. It cleaned that laminate beautifully! I am so pleased! I am also using it as an ingredient in homemade laundry soap. I have chemical sensitivities so borax is becoming more and more useful for me. 20 Mule Team, thank you, thank you, thank you!     Good old fashion stuff

    Pros: Safer than bleach

    Cons: Most times has hard clumps

    I swear by 20 mule team to sanitize my under garments. Bleach is too hard. It has other uses that I don't use.

    Great for ant pestacide

    i was looking for a solution to the ant problem around my house and another consumer at the store said she uses it when they go camping to keep the ants away so I gave it a try.... Works great i sprinkle it around the whole outside of the house and a...round the shed and mail box every year and never had a problem since.. Its safe for pets and plants. I do use it inside the house since i haven't seen any ants come it after I spread it on the outside... Works great as a laundry booster and stain removal and is genital on all fabrics.. The old fashion remedies still work today and is cost effective. Read more Less

    Sometimes Less is BEST

    Pros: No smell, all natural, non toxic, low cost, mulit-purpose

    Cons: Not finding in more stores.

    I love Borax! It does everything listed on the box but know for a FACT that it kills fleas and nothing could have been easier or cheaper to do! Just sprinkle it on your rugs and under cushions in the couch. That’s it! There are no chemicals so ther...e’s no smell; no risk to kids and pets; no washing and wiping everything afterwards… Next day, vacuum again and reapply Borax. The first application took care of most of them but eggs hatch in 14 days so you’ll need to reapply Borax after vacuuming for the next month or so to make sure they have all hatched out.
