    I'll never buy anything BUT a Canon

    Pros: Great pictures, long battery life, quick response, swivel-out LCD screen

    Cons: Somewhat bulky

    I bought my Canon Powershot G2 as my first digital camera. At the time I was a junior in high school and had very little money to spend so I took my time researching models before finally setttling on the G2. I've had the camera for almost three ye...ars now and I couldn't be more satisfied. The camera takes great pictures and focuses very well. The battery last a long time, even with the LCD in use. The LCD itself swivels out, which is very useful when holding the camera in akward positions or taking self portraits. It's a great piece of technology. Read more Less
