Santa brought Wii for the whole family (me, my husband & our 2 young daughters), thankfully, Super Mario Galaxy was included too. It has been non-stop fun. Dad is a semi-serious gamer and finds it challenging and interesting. The girls -- one 7 and o...ne 5 -- think it is hilarious, and the way they dance when Mario completes another power star rescue is what life is all about. It is mildly difficult, but the progressive learning is intuitive -- meaning Mario teaches you what you need to do, as long as you have the patience to try and retry the different levels and challenges. The game makes good use of the motion sensor controls -- some games use complicated movements, others are easier. If you have kids and a Wii, this game is a MUST for your collection! Read more Less
I LOVE this game! Its pure, silly princess saving fun. Its challenging enough that you lose a life every once in a while, but you don't get frustrated and turn it off. I'm a mom so I don't have a lot of time for super immersive games, so this platfor...mer is right up my alley. The controls are intuitive, which is no small feat in this intergalactic adventure. Mario goes planet to planet and you never quite know which way is going to be up, or whether you will be able to walk off of the edges that would normally kill you to literally walk around the planet. I suggest this game to anyone who has kids, (its fun to take turns trying to pass a level.) I also suggest it to anyone wanting to recapture a bit of their inner Nintendo nerd. We all had Super Mario Bros. when we were kids, didn't we?? Read more Less

GREAT game I LOVED playing all of it. Super fun and super easy. I thought it was odd that it never saved how many lives you have when you turn off the game but the game is so easy that you never really run out of lives. PLUS toad is always giving you... bonus lives as well as lives are stashed on the main map. My only complaint is that the camera angles SUCK!!!!! The worst ever. The camera is always in a way to show the map but not what you are doing or going so the ONLY reason you die is because the camera angles are so stupid. Anyway a fun and great game. It's challenging enough to have fun but not so hard you go crazy. The game was designed for kids to play so keep that in mind when you can't pass the stupid levels. I LOVED IT!!!!!! Read more Less

it's a very fun game with abig storyline, but I think it could be a little better with the controls. not much you have to interact with. which is the whole point of the wii. but overall it had good creation so I would definetly try it.
It's got megatons of style, inventiveness, playability and replayability.and all the while, it still manages to feel like sunshine, candy and the glory days of 3D console videogaming yore. Read more
