    beware of lead

    Cons: lead leaking out of valve

    I've used the pot three times to make chicken broth, the broth looked dark each time. I did not know what made the broth dark until I cleaned up the lid after the third use, there was yellow (lead-like) liquid leaking out of the valve and inside of t...he lid was rusted. I am horrified that we've consumed the broth contaminated with lead. I hope the manufacture take responsibility and recall these products. Read more Less

    Pros: Likely to cook food

    Cons: Shappy manfacturer

    I never got one single use from my pressure cooker. The first time I begin to used my cooker, the lower handle broke off. I immediately contacted Fagor and was notified that the warranty only covers the pot and lid. Handles, pressure valves or rings ...are not covered. They are only covered within the first 30 days. Unfortunately, I waited for 44 days before the first use. This company does NOT back their product. But they claim that thier product is so superior in quality to other companies. Most reviews you see are from the people selling these products, don't be fooled! Read more Less
