    Pros: 3 interfaces. Very fast. Very quiet

    I love this drive. It is the fastest drive I own.
    It looks really good and it really quiet.

    Pros: Firewire 800

    Cons: It will die on you when need it most.

    I've had three of these drives fail on me in the last 4 months! On one of them, the chassis of the drive failed and I had to find anohter firewire chassis to mount the drive. The other two drives hardisks failed completely. They wont mount, they wont... spin up. I found by opening the cases that lacie must purchase the cheapest hardisk available at the time of production therefore leaving the buyer with no guarntee of a quality hardisk in the lacie chassis. Iniside the cases of my drives that failed I found Western Digital, Seagate and Maxtor hardisks. I'll never buy another LaCie product again! Read more Less
