NOW Organic Virgin Coconut Oil is unrefined cold-pressed oil, and does not utilize any solvents in the manufacturing process. Coconut oil contains no trans-fats and is a rich source of Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs), such as lauric acid (C-12) and caprylic acid (C-8). MCTs are less likely to be stored in the body as fat than most other fatty acids. Combined with essential fatty acids, it is a perfect addition to an overall healthy lipid program.* Suggested Usage: As a dietary supplement, take 3 softgels 2 to 3 times daily with meals.
