    bought my Compaq - 7AP140 04/30/00.. been almost a year. It has been up and online 24/7 since day one.This is the fastest most reliable pc I have ever been on. I work on others computers frequently, and am *always* very happy (and relieved) to get ba...ck to my own. :)~One other thing to point out: How many computers can you buy these days, and a FULL YEAR later- the same model is not only still available... but going for the same price??generally, within a year *most* pc's are either no longer offered, or are going for *HALF* of the original price!!!this should tell you something.note: comment on plaul's post.= I can not imagine paying over $1000.00 for **anything** and not at least getting the YEAR warranty... additionally, when I *did* have to call Compaq (on an unrelated issue) the tech support was very helpfull.
