    Pros: Easy setup, great speed, great interface

    Cons: Gets Hot, Plastic a little flimsy

    Had a Netgear WRN854T - peice of junk! Replaced it with the DIR-655. Easy setup, nice GUI interface, great speed and Gigabit wired ethernet. Only con is the plastic case is a little flimsy and gets hot.

    Dlink Removed WDS!

    Pros: Easy to set up, Lots of router features

    Cons: No WDS -- cannot wirelessly connect two networks (one DIR-655 to another)

    I purchased two of these routers to connect two physically separate networks wirelessly. Though Dlink supported WDS through v1.0.4 (these routers shipped with v1.10), WDS is no longer supported. I tried to flash an earlier version and it wouldn't wor...k. The only way to connect two networks is to physically the routers. Read more Less

    Pros: Excellent coverage, Gigabit speed-fast!

    Cons: configuration settings difficult to find

    This router is awesome. I have been very pleased with my purchase, for several months now. The web interface took a little getting used to, from the older interface on my previous router, but it works well. I highly recommend this router, expecially... for advanced users. Read more Less
