I've had 3 replacements in two years and they all failed appx every 6-8 months. Great way to make good fresh coffee, but there is nothing more frustrating than waking up to a broken coffee maker when you need coffee. I'm still debating if I should ge...t a new one or just forfeit the $100 worth of cups. Read more Less
No more running to Duncan Donuts every morning. It makes a great cup of coffee. I love the auxillary coffee cup (Use your own coffee) devise. I can mix my own blend. Thank you Keurig.
Where to start with how much our family loves this thing? Kids can have hot chocolate (dark or mild chocolate) or apple cider, and everyone else can opt for one of those, or choose tea or one of the many coffees. The unit warms up quickly, has a time...r for in the morning, and makes a single cup at a time. Best feature for me, a tea drinker: NO coffee taste in the tea like you get from a coffee maker when you try to simply heat up water. Next best feature: no filter or mess to clean. You place a small plastic cup of your beverage choice in the top of the Keurig, hit "brew" and the unit does the rest. When it's done, remove the plastic cup and throw it away.Sometimes I still use my own specialty teas with this and use it to heat up the water--works great for this, too!We bought one for my dad, who lives alone. He loves his one cup of coffee in the morning, then drinks tea the rest of the day. Perfect solution. No clean up. The coffee assortment will please any palate, even my dad's, and he's very picky. We have a Brita filter and use filtered water in it. For ease, I wish it had its own water filter in the unit, but this is a minor issue.Truly, the only drawback we've had with this thing is I had to go buy more mugs because we kept running out. It gets used that much. Our dentist's office even has one in the waiting room, and the ladies there told me it's extremely popular. They love it, too, because of the low maintenance for them as compared to a regular coffee maker. If you drink 5-6 cups of coffee at home every day, the cost may be prohibitive for you, but for the family who loves variety this has been the perfect addition to our kitchen! Most of the time it works fine. Sometimes it turns off, usually after making the coffee, sometimes before several times. It is great that I can buy any ground coffee to use. I always use bottled water so the filter is clean, with no problems.
Moved my B70 from one side of kitchen to other, plugged it in and randomly brewed then got a flashing 'not ready' after exhausting 2 days trying to get help at Keurig told it is dead, but they will give us some money off a new one. Really. a $200 app...liance that lasts less than 3 years, paid 130 for a microwave still going strong after 12 years. Also after less than a year, the machine took twice as long to produce a cup than it did the day I bought it and I cleaned it on a regular basis. Piece of Junk Read more Less
Received a Keurig B70 for Christmas in 2010. Worked great for 2 months, without a flaw. Then one day, went to make a cup of coffee and the unit would not produce any coffee through the pump system. Did some online research and it seems I was NOT alon...e. There are 3 main issues with these makers, some that have been going on since 2006 without being corrected. Seems that they can just keep replacing a $200 coffee maker as much as they want (when it's apparent they're making them for about $20). Keurig did offer a replacement but I said no thanks and took the money instead. Used my remaining K-cups in a regular old coffee maker which is 5 years old and still working great. Buyer beware, Keurigs are a hit & miss gamble. Read more Less
Is convenient when having guests over for dinner. They can choose which type, flavor or style they want. I don't have to offend any group of attendees by not being able to serve them coffee.
Same problems as the other reviews. The 2 positive reviews..they haven't had them long enough, you'll be hearing from them. Do not buy the Keurig B70 unit. I have 3 and all have failed after 6- 8 months. Keurig/HSN has replaced them and I now have the B-60 and have had no problems. I have to brew 2 cycles to fill my morning mug. I can not in good conscience recommend a Ke...urig product. Read more Less
