I love my Wii! It is awesome fun. Using the controller as you do puts you right in the game, and for a girl who never really got into video games previously, this set surprised me. I love it. Hard to find, yes, but worth the wait. I got lucky and hap...pened to be in a WalMart 7 days before Christmas when they announced that they had just gotten 5 Wii's and I ran back to electronics and got the last one. What a find. Well worth the money. Great family fun. Everyone should have one. The graphics are very simple in the included Sports game.. but haven't really tried any others so maybe it's just that game. It won't matter tho.. you won't even notice once you start swingin' that bat or club and practicing your hook shot at the lanes. Great, great system. Read more Less

There isn't anythig bad that I can say about this item. The only thing I do recommend is getting it at Gamestop, where I got mine, because it's $250. Compared to a Yahoo! price which is $350.
ok, well, the other day when I was playing my wii it blanked out on me I got the platform working but the remote was not controlling the game. It took me and my friend a week to figure it out. I have NO idea how we fixed it , but we did, by the time ...we got it fixed but it needed new batteries, it hooks up to the internet, but I can't get it to hook up. You can make Mii's the charecters to play the games with. The wii also comes with the game wii sports, which is the funnest of all, I don't like the other games for some reason. Otherwise, it's perfect Thank you for the time. Read more Less

It lacks the graphical prowess and rich media features of the Xbox 360 and the PS3, but the Nintendo Wii's combination of unique motion-sensitive controllers and emphasis on fun gameplay make the ultra-affordable console hard to resist. Read more
The concept is simple: Anyone can play. When the bigwigs at Nintendo began designing the Wii, they wanted to make it a system that anyone could pick up and play, and it looks like they've hit the mark. Wii Sports, which is included in the box with the Wii, is something that anyone can understand and is about the least intimidating game I can think of. Not only that, but the Wii Remote is the most non-threatening controller since the original NES pads. Read more
Nintendo has been fairly secretive about its new console after announcing it at E3 last year. We know it has an IBM processor and an ATI graphics chip. It's rumored to be two to three times as powerful as the GameCube, but we may never discover the final hardware specifications because Nintendo believes that comparisons should be based on the quality of the games, not on numbers in a specification list.
