    Pros: very clear pictures.

    Cons: Dont know of any yet.

    I have been shopping around for a good digital camera for sometime now. I think I have finally found the one for me. I do have a canon 20D and love it also. I wanted something that would take pictures with the quality of the dslr camera but half the ...size. This one comes very close. I am in no way a pro. photographer but I love to take clear pictures. All in all I have not had this camera long, but I think I am going to be very happy with it. Read more Less

    Pros: XGA Video and Easy Access to Functions

    Cons: Not a Compact Camera, IS Overrated

    Pro: Great pictures and videos. The only camera that offers XGA video aside from Canon SD900 (no Image Stabilizer). Love the dial on the camera to easily access different scenes and controls such as manual focus. Low light picture and video are bette...r than previous models. Con: Weights heavier than a can of soda. Image Stabilizer is not what I expected. I was thinking that all shots will be stablize. I took some normal shot with some shaking and it still comes out blury unless you have the flash on. However, I did get a clear shot when I zoom to the max and took a picture of a sign. It has to be outdoor with good lighting. Conclusion: I do recommend buying the G7. If Canon can have IS on the SD900, I would buy the SD900 instead due to it's size and weight. I think Canon did this on purpose to sell both cameras. Also, Canon reliablity is the best. All my old Canons still works. Read more Less
