    Great Wireless Adapter

    Pros: Great signal

    Cons: Gets hot when streaming video

    I bought this adapter for my daughter's computer. She has Ubuntu Linux and this adapter immediately installed itself and she was on the internet in seconds. I don't know how it will work in Windows but who cares. I don't run Windows anyway. I have th...is adapter in a room where all of my laptops have about a 90% signal. This adapter stays at 100%. This is well worth the money. It also comes with a 1 1/2 foot cord with which you can raise the adapter higher if you want and comes with velcro so you can mount it. I recommend this product. I don't recommend buying a refurbished one like the other poster did. Read more Less

    Cons: product does not work

    I bought this adapter from Reallytech. It was refurbished. It did not work. I contacted Realytech - they have no tech support (so how did they test it then?). They told me to contact Netgear. Contacted Netgear Tech Support - After a few hours with th...em, they told me the adapter was not functioning. Since then, I have tried to return it to Reallytech so that they can replace it with one that works - No luck, they playing as if they not hearing me - I have spent my whole life in retail and have never seen business ethics like this. They are doing everything but addressing the heart of the problem, i.e. replacing a faulty product they have sent to a customer. Disgrace! Read more Less
