    Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi is a great choice for professionals and beginners as well. This camera is really solid, responsible and easy to use. Simply great but still expensive.

    Pros: Easy to handle and quick to get used to controls

    Cons: Lens, you better get good lens

    I use to play with my Dad back in the old days with his SLR, and allways thought it was a waste of time. But thank god he made me pay attention. After owning several P&S, this year I decided to grow and get an D-SLR, after a couple month of reading r...eviews and visiting manufactures web site finally decide for the XTi, and it was a great choice. After just a couple of weeks I was already using the creative modes and even adventuring into the manual mode, lots of the pictures were useless but help me remember the old days with my Dad and his SLR and wasting a lot of film. This camera works great. I suggest that you take your time and go to a good Photo Store and take your time to play with all of them and you will definetly see the difference. Enjoy. Read more Less
