    Pros: price

    Cons: battery

    Handy DVD camcorder for $ 350.00 from B&H photos and videos. The dvd disc I used was generic (Matrix)and could not finalize after recording. The camcorder showed "disc error" and the disc could not be played on other DVD players. Then I used "Maxell"... DVD discs with out any problem. The battery is not good for even a 30 minute recording. Good buy if you are concerned about the high price of other DVD camcorders. Read more Less

    Pros: Looks good on fireplace mantle

    Cons: Lack of support, odd ball battery, charging method

    Three days after I bought it the dog chewed the AC adapter (my fault). No replacement could be found ANYWHERE but for one site associated with Samsung (not Samsung themselves). They didn't actually have one in stock as it's on backorder. Also learned... that there is no charger for the battery by itself. It can only be charged while attached to the camcorder. And THAT requires the AC adapter. Read more Less
