    Battlefront II better than original

    Pros: More action, more battlefields, more options, more fun

    Cons: Still falls short of what it could have been

    After spending an entire night playing this game, I am sufficiently impressed that it is definitely and improvement over the original version. There are more battles, more options for gameplay, and overall more choices of things to do. The graphics ...are not significantly better, less than I had hoped. The controls are better in some cases, particularly the ability to "roll" to dodge attacks is much easier in II. The auto-aim does not seem to work as well. The AI was supposed to be better, and it is. The opponents are much harder to track and kill, and your allies are far more aggressive both in taking CP's and seeking out opponents, thus there is more action in II than I. It is worth the money, so don't even hesitate to go buy it. You'll get your money's worth in only a couple of nights of playing. Read more Less

    Great Game for any Star Wars Fan

    Pros: Great action and one on one fighting, characters

    Cons: story mode lacking, space battles

    I bought SWB2 knowing I was buying an FPS that had to do with Star Wars. Very soon however I realized what an FPS it was! One could compare to Halo 2, but with characters you know and love. Darth Vader, Luke, Leia, Han Solo, Darth Maul, Obi Wan, Yoda..., Mace Windu, Anakin, all of them are there to use. The story mode however is a bit lacking, its hell to die when your renforments are low, and will make you want to throw your controller at the screen when your forces lose, but back to review. The space battles are to be honest boring as hell. If the game gives you the option of by passing a space mission, you know something is up, and take my word and by pass it. There is no incredible dog fighting, but more of destorying the opposing fleet from the inside of the ship, which can be fun for the first two times, but gets old quick. There is another type of story mode called Galactic Conquest, where you pick a federation and take over all planets in the galaxy all the while another federation is trying to do the same. You can purchase with credits bonuses like the Leader Bonus for fighting with a leader in a planet battle. Its fun, though you will most likely be forced now and then to space battle, its good fun with all the federations (Rebel Alliance, Clone Federation, Storm Troopers, Droids [imperialists]). I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys FPS's, you dont need any Star Wars knowlegde either. Read more Less

    Pros: Space dogfights, 16 new planets, fight as Jedi

    Cons: Cannot have air dogfights and jedi are from wrong time periods for example Darth Maul on Mustafar

    The game has great sound effects and has the sounds of a real dogfight. For example if you are in space you will hear something like "There are some fighters on your tail. The graphics are also amazing. However the controls are harder then battlefron...t 1 and you need to manually adjjust them. Read more Less

    This game is real sweet. If you do the missions not only does it say you're part of the story but you feel like it too. This game is WAY funner then the first one, it may not have all the same places but it has more (including space battles). If you ...have an online adapter i suggest you buy this game. Im out and have fun gaming. P.S. No messing with the (BOB) clan there cool, if ever go in there rooms tell them Saific says hi. Read more Less

    Pros: jedi, and graphics

    Cons: What happened to gameplay, and the space levels aren't great

    ok I'm an online playing battlefront 1 fan. Loved that game. Battlefront II, it's just like any other game out there nowadays. you know lucasarts loves to point out that battlefront I was the best-selling star wars game of all time, and yet the seque...l is not even close to the same idea. Missions with steps that must be taken, CPs that can't be taken until the "plot" says it's time. What were they thinking? Say good-bye to strategy & big battles, and hello to a role playing game.     BattleFront 2 with Jedi Action!

    Pros: Jedi Action, Great graphics, Great Sound, Damn Fun

    Cons: Weak Team A.I., Fun goes away in a bit.

    **It's been more than a yr since the release of StarWars: BattlerFront 1 and now BattleFront 2 is up and ready on the market. Let's talk about the pros and cons of this title.** *Pros*: Wow... Is that what i think it is?? Jedi characters??! Yup, you...'ve guessed it, there are multiple Jedi characters that are playable in this game. From the wise Yoda to the ruthless 'Emperor'. Playing as jedi characters are super fun, i mean, isnt it every StarWars Fan's dream to be a jedi and slash your way through an army of driods? With that being said, the enviroment is great! Graphics are lush and sounds are clear as crystal. All this fun packaged into one great game is pretty exciting eh?? *Cons*: With Pros come with Cons and ofcourse die-hard fans of StarWars wouldnt think too much about this part but here it is! Weak Ass Team A.I. frustrates players. On single player missions, you will find yourself doing all the work plus, soloing battle ships and fighting a bunch of enemy units by yourself. The team A.I couldnt have been any more stupid. This is probaly the major issue of the offline play. *Sidetracking..*: The Online play is great, lots of options, lots of maps, lots of stuff going on. Now.. ppl have complained about Jedis that are overpowered. Well technically, it is true. If any pro player starts playing a Jedi.. anyone in his way will die in one or 2 slashes of the lightsabre. BUT, keep in mind you DONT HAVE TO play in games where Jedi heroes are in play. The host has the option to turn it 'off' when s/he creates the game. *Back to Cons*: Lots of fun fun fun. Yes... if you do not plan to play online... you will find yourself bored after about 10 hrs of enjoyment. The Gameplay is pretty much repetetive and since the team AI is so dumb, there isnt much variation in what they do. So i have to say that the replay value for offline play is very low. *Rest*: Still i think the best part in single player is playing Yoda then zooming across the battlefield slicing and dicing enemies. The lil' dude is FAST (spoiler?). Overall, it's a great game. And did i mention it has 2 player co-op offline? Having a buddy playing with you takes away all the frustration from the stupid A.I. *Rent or Buy?*: DEFINITE Rent!! Buy if you are a StarWars fan, otherwise you might get a bit bored of it.     Star Wars Battlefront II is a lot better than first game. With unique gameplay a new features you cant help but like it better. The controls are very easy to understand and you dont have to push five different buttons to shoot. One bad thing is the g...raphics.     Pros: The sound is good

    generally I like this game. It has improvement in sound and control. Anyway, I am not an advanced player and the requirement is not so high
