    Starts slamming down after 2 years

    Cons: The soft close feature is short lived

    There is a sticky fluid in the hinges which creates the slow soft-close motion of the toilet seat and lid. When the fluid leaks out, you will have a regular seat & lid which slams down with gravity. Be prepared to shell out $45 to $50+ regularly if y...ou wish to continue enjoying the soft close feature.
