    Cons: Very Bad Customer

    If you like to install your own disposal don't buy a Kitchenaid. They do not have customer service support. They say that all they know is what is on the instructions (which can be incomplete). I think they know their customer service is bad, but doe...s poor people that answer the phone are helpless. The other issue is even getting to a person. The auto answering machne can not understand numbers (I speak clearly). It took 2 calls before the auto answerer put me through to these useless phone people. They said that they do not have technical people to answer a simple question. There are many companies that are alternatives; the company has to be better than zero customer service. Before is a test. Before you install any part of the disposal, call their support line; ask a question. Bet you will take the product back. Read more Less

    Pros: have had for 5 yrs no problem until today

    Cons: none

    I put my hand in the disposal and felt rust I laid it back into place in the disposal do I buy a new one or is there anything I can replace inside the disposal cece30@bellsouth.net
