    Pros: Price is nice, no expensive ink needed, prints and prints

    I can have no complaints about a printer that allows me to print sheet music found online, my Father's few copy and print jobs, genealogy items, labels, without the concern of buying ink. The printer software is, of course, connected online to Del...l for reorder for toner, etc.: Purchasing it in 2004, we have not needed to do so. Perhaps in another 6 years or so! (I have only gone through one package and a little more of paper, with the above projects.) (I do not miss the Epson Printer Software which made me use proprietary ink, and, has also lost in a lawsuit declaring that the software does not use the ink up before it obligates one to purchase more ink. I could not use an off brand from the monks.) I could say that a printer would be great, if it could print in sepia; for those old time photos. I haven't printed photos with it, at all. Black and white print well. There is also as a Dell "color" laser printer. Read more Less

    Cheap and it shows

    The first one I had started jamming after 6 months and was replaced by dell (after a slight haggle.) The new one was not new, it was a refurb that still has problems like a strange "burning toner" smell and the sheet feeder is almost imposs...ible to feed correctly resulting in wrinkled pages. The sheet feeder is also only one at a time, so unless it's only for one sheet, it's a REAL pain. The other strange thing is that it prints at various speeds depending on the complexity of the document. I don't know why one graphic-less excel doc would be more complex than another, but this printer treats them that way. For the price we paid ($129) it's not bad, but this is definitely a bargain-basement printer. Read more Less
