Great Product

I love this straightener. I have VERY LONG, THICK curly hair and what would normally take me 1 1/2 hrs to do my hair took me 30 min and the feel was so soft and light, not heavy and brittle. I wish the price was not so high. Definetely recommend...Happy Straightening :)

Pros: Allows you to get down to the root without burning the scalp.
Cons: No temperature adjustment feature.
I have coarse kinky hair but after using this flat iron my hair feels smooth and looks shiny.

Ummm HELLOO PEOPLE IT'S A STRAIGHTENER!!!!IT WILL BURN YOUR HAIR!!!! It works great my hair is super long(to my butt) and curly and frizzy. I have tried the instyler it DOES NOT WORK for my kind of hair. I would reccomend this straightener :)

This product gets your hair super straight but IT WILL BURN IT even with one use BELIEVE ME, it is a little price too. So I DONT recomend it.

Pros: Makes my very thick curly hair super straight.
Cons: Snags hair between the plates, no adjustable settings and the power cord doesn't swivel so it tends to fray near the handle.
When first introduced to the CHI iron by my hair dresser, it was a total blessing. My hair is mid-length, very thick and course but so unruly.
This was the first iron that tamed my hair and made it look naturally straight, even in high humidity.
Three draw backs were:
1) Hair gets caught between the plates and snaps /pulls it.
2) No adjustable heat setting. If you have thin hair, be very careful not to burn your hair or scalp.
3) Power cord does not swivel so eventually the cord will fray and brake away from the unit. (I’ve had two and after about 2 years, that’s how they both broke)
Now I use a Sedu iron and after 3 years, I’ve found no cons what-so-ever. The price is about $20 cheaper then the Chi (varies by model and retailer) and works so “Frickenly Awesome!”Was this review helpful? Yes - Nolove it but...be carefull
Pros: makes your hair shiny and locks in the moisture real good
Cons: only last for 6 months
i love how it straightens my hair real good. especially when u use it with the chi hair products. your hair will be frizz free for 2 days trust me. the only downside my hair iron only lasted 6 months. what a waste of money. if your going to buy one make sure that it is made in america.
