    Pros: Print quality is fine - when it prints.

    Cons: Paper feed from hell.

    Agree with all previous reviewers. My experience is exactly the same. I bought it because of an excellent review in Computer Shopper. Strengths appeared to be good value and print quality. It is more trouble than it is worth. My previous pri...nter (an Epsom) lasted for years and owed me nothing. I regret changing to HP. My advice: buy something else. Read more Less

    Stay Away From HP Deskjet 5940

    Cons: will not feed the paper

    I purchased the 5940 in November of 2005. In February HP replaced the printer free of charge due to a problem with feeding the paper. Now it's September and the problem has started all over again. After 1 hour of speaking with tech support they wi...ll be sending me a roller cleaning kit. I tried to get a straight answer on what they will do if this happens again after the one year warranty is up. In short I'm on my own unless I purchase the 3 year extended warranty from them. I will no longer will be buying HP products. Read more Less
