Pros: features, manual modes and colour temp, size, phenomenal quality, special glass (not plastic) lenses, review cropping, lens cap doesn't fall off.

Cons: would've liked ASA800, and a lens adaptor for lens shade or a protective filter. tilt screen would've been nice too.

I still own a Pentax 6X7 and severall Contax's with Carl Zeiss lenses. I used them from mountain tops to weddings, and I hanged onto them untill eventually I had to agree that film was loosing to digital. I did a thorough research for about 2 weeks... and I bought my first digital camera: S80. I love it! I don't have to carry 10lbs of equipment anymore, I have video back up for emergencies. I would've liked more zoom, but with 8megapix and 2Giga card I easily overcome that. The 28mm wideangle makes for wonderfull compositions. Easy to control, super logical (on my first trip I forgot instructions at home and so I proved you don't really need them), excellent focus, colour and almost pro features. For indoor scenes, manual mode gives great nuances ballance. This camera is for photo enthus that chase great results; it's a reward for photography and not snap-shooting.
