    Excellent Film

    Although JFK is about 206 minutes long, I don't feel boring at all. The screenplay is excellent, the editing and cinematography is brilliant, it deserves the 2 Oscars. What a pity it didn't win Best Picture and Best Director.

    One of the Most Important films to watch

    Pros: Cinematography and Direction, entertaining cast

    Cons: Could have shown more documentary-type footage

    Before this film came out I neve once paid any attetntion to political movies. JFK changed that forever. By 'sccidently' watching JFK, I realized something...polital movies can be very entertaing! The cast is superb. One of Costners best roles and pe...rformance. Tommy Lee Jones is great. Kevin Bacon is great. The supporting cast is great. The movie is very long, but trust me, you wont notice it. Totally engaging, entertaining, emotional, and jarring all at once. Mixes documentary facts with Hollywood gloss. Makes a person wonder about the controversy surrounding his assassination. (the magic bullet theory). I can't help but think of the current polital events that our country is facing with Iraq...(WMDs anyone? Anyone? ...Bueller?) One of my favorite films ever...and I dont even like political films.
