    Pros: Design--sleek & stylish

    Cons: Does not work properly after opening approx. 10 cans

    My husband and I received this can opener as a wedding present. Much to our dismay, the can opener will not open an entire can without "giving out" and sputtering to a stand-still. We have not tried to contact Cuisinart as of yet, nor have we attempt...ed to return the item to the store where it was purchased for us. Hopefully, this is just a lemon, because both my husband and I think the appliance is nice-looking. Read more Less

    Cheaply made

    Pros: Quiet and efficient until it breaks

    Cons: Cheap parts and impossible to repair

    We used the sco-60 for about a month before a very flimsy plastic part in the cutter head broke and cuisinart has ignored repeated requests for assistance. It has now been a year and I am still being ignored by this useless company.

    Pros: looks good, fairly quiet

    Cons: it's broken!

    I liked the look of this opener. One of my children used a can that had a pop up tab on it and the part that holds the can broke right off and I cannot fix it. Of course, who keeps a receipt for a can opener? I keep in a cupboard and hope I can find ...someone to fix it Read more Less

    WORKS LIKE A CHARM!

    Pros: It Saves me calories because it will not work!

    Cons: I can't eat.

    It worked about a month then just quit working. Cuisinart. Don't even think about buying one.

    Pros: Great looking and heavy construction

    Cons: CHEAP INTERNAL PARTS !!

    Thought this was a great can opener. opened about 4 cans and the plastic part broke on the lever.Won't deal with Cuisinart again. Thought they were suppose to be a step above.What a piece of JUNK!!!!

    Pros: good motor and cutter

    Cons: breaks- no parts

    Piece of junk toggle mechanism for the handle. I hear there are no parts! I'm trying right now to get a response, but doesn't sound like they are responsive, from what I'm reading.

    Such a Disgrace

    Pros: Looks nice, works well while it works

    Cons: junk

    I bought this can opener in late March to replace a 15 year old electric can opener. After less than 3 months the blade mechanism broke and would not puncture a can, therefore could not open a can. I exchanged it at the point of purchase. The 2nd one... did the exact same thing, except lasted only 6 weeks. I returned it for a refund. Am very disappointed in this purchase, considering the Cuisinart brand. Guess they just don't make 'em like they used to. Read more Less
